Lance Armstrong rides into Kananaskis Country

On Sunday, Lance Armstrong rode into Kananaskis country on the Tour of Hope, a fundraising event for cancer research. Participants paid $25,000 for the once in a lifetime chance to ride with Lance and teammate George Hincapie. The 130km tour started in Longview, crossing Highwood Pass, and ending in Kananaskis Village. Team 2010 met the peleton on the final climb up to the village with signs painted on the road welcoming the group.
