More than 80 skiers took part in the ski to Mabel Lake on Sunday, March 2, 2008. The weather forecast had threatened skiers all week with cloudy conditions and light rain for the annual event. As it turned out, the weather was favourable with a temperature just below zero degrees and partly sunny skies. Skiers enjoyed a great meal and snacks at the Kin Centre after they skied.
