Ontario Owns the Podium at the Cadet National Biathlon Championships in Valcartier, Quebec

Valcartier, Quebec was the host facility for the 23rd Cadet National Championship, and in the most unreasonable skiing conditions 10 out of the 15 medals won by Ontario belonged to the local cadet athletes. Athletes competing from the 2310 Army Cadets were Travis Parr, Natasha Floyd-Paquette, Liam Ortiz, and William Stewart, with Colin Edwards as a Unit Team Coach. For the first time, athletes from 155 Air Cadets competed at the National Championships consisting of Tyler Davie, and Brett Davie.

For the 2nd straight year the 2310 Army Cadet Unit Team took double gold in both the Unit Relay and Unit Patrol races, with the athletes composed of Travis Parr, Liam Ortiz, and William Stewart. Natasha Floyd-Paquette was placed on a Composite Team with two other females from Ontario, which placed 6th in the Composite Relay and 8th in the Composite Patrol.

Both Tyler Davie and Brett Davie were placed on a composite team with Andrei Uretti from Aurora, Ontario as their Junior and placed 2nd in the Composite Relay and 3rd in the Composite Patrol.

Tyler Davie won the Jean-Philippe LeGuellec award which is given to both the top Senior Boy and Senior Girl who had the best overall combined time in the Sprint and Pursuit races.
