Hiawatha Park was officially dedicated as a tree farm at the Hiawatha Park Lodge when B.F. Avery of KVP at Espanola, presented Bill Taylor, president of the Sault Kinsmen Club, with a certificate.

Below-zero weather wasn't enough to keep the ski enthusiasts indoors this past weekend. A large crowd gathered for the fifth annual ski jump meet at the Landslide Hill.
