Junior Race Team - Boyne Highlands Classic

The Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club (SFNSC) Junior race team competed at the Boyne Highlands Classic ski race in Harbor Springs Michigan on Sunday, January 6, 2008.

In the 5 km junior girls race, Wendy Mihell (24:54) had the fastest girl's time in the 13 & under category and overall. Evelyn Steele of Soo Finnish placed second.

In the 5 km junior boys race, Liam Ortiz (27:11) placed first, followed by Karl Zimmermann and Brandon Desrosiers

Maija Irvine place second in the Juvenile girls category and Scott McCron won the Men's 20 -29 age group in the 10 km race.
