25 Km Skating - MalesThe organizers and volunteers did another excellent job on this years loppets. The events started right on time and were very well marshalled on well groomed trails. An excellent lunch was served followed by the awards ceremony with lots of draw prizes and awards for the top 5 in each category. For those who have never attended, you are missing one of the best cross-country ski events in the area.
This year the conditions were much colder than last year with lots of fresh snow that had fallen the day before. To see how the weather and snow conditions effected the results, the last column in the skating results indicate the per cent difference in finishing time between this year and last year for the same competitor. Red indicates faster (there was only one) and black indicates slower. The comparisons were not done for the classic loppet because the course and distance were different this year.
