More than 200 runners took part in the 25th Annual Trail Trot at Hiawatha Highlands. The weather was perfect with sunny skies, light winds and a temperature of 14 degrees celsius at race time.

Heavy rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday caused flooding on the Crystal Creek Trail, forcing organizers to move the 5km and 10 km events to the Pinder and Sugar Bush Trails.

Many volunteers worked hard to make this event enjoyable for the participants and spectators.

Prizes for runners in the 2km, 5km and 10km events were provided by The Athlete's Foot. The Athlete's Foot and Algoma Bicycle provided draw prizes as well.
